 Dr. Chen-Zion has more than 13 years of experience in the fields of regulatory affairs, preclinical research and clinical trials of medical devices and biotechnology. Dr. Chen-Zion holds a Ph.D. in Biology with highest distinction from Bar-Ilan University.
In her many years of activity, Dr. Chen-Zion has held various management positions. She served as Director of Clinical Affairs at Topspin Medical, which develops cardiovascular medical devices, and at Neurovision Ltd, which develops software medical devices. Dr. Chen-Zion also served as Vice President, Clinical and Regulatory Affairs Director at Optonol Ltd., which develops ophthalmic medical devices for permanent implantation.
Since 2004, Dr. Chen-Zion has been consulting various companies in diverse fields, including cardiology, ophthalmology, orthopedic, dental, gastroenterology and others. Dr. Chen-Zion serves also as the regulatory consultant to Life Sciences Accelerator (LSA), a subsidiary of the Shizim Group. Shizim provides a full umbrella of developmental, clinical and business services to Israeli life science and medical device companies. In addition, Dr. Chen-Zion provides advisory services to S-Cub Financial Consulting Ltd., a "One Stop Shop" for financial and consulting services.
Dr. Chen-Zion's scientific background is broad. She lectured at the "Monitors for Clinical Trial" course, given by the Bar Ilan Research and Development Company Ltd. of Bar-Ilan University, in 2001. Dr. Chen-Zion has published over 20 articles and 15 abstracts in professional literature.
